WELCOME
glass on glass offers unusual, kiln-formed glassware made with recycled glass. By using reclaimed glass to create wall tiles, bowls, splashbacks, candle shades and myriad other useful and decorative objects, I offer a material destined for landfill a new life by giving it a different shape, colour and purpose; it is a constantly evolving process.
Designs are inspired by the natural world and by the belief that light and colour can enrich our lives. My commitment is that each piece should be unique, a work of art in it's own right, not to be replicated or copied unless specifically intended.
I can adapt designs to individual requirements eg tiles cut to any size, bowls or plates to suit your colour scheme etc or incorporate your own ideas to create a bespoke piece.
As with anything hand crafted it is not an exact science, even tiles cut to the same size will not always be identical but are guaranteed to fit together comfortably enough with their companions.
